Setting up a personal server using Dynamic IP

Are you trying to route your personal domain to your local server using home IP which is dynamic?

This could be done easily using Dynamic DNS service providers, few of which are free. The one I tried was DynDNS.com

This service is really cool, you just need to install a small client utility on your PC which updates there server with your IP at frequent intervals. You can use the URL they provide to access your pc at home. You could map this URL to your personal domain so that when you type in your domain name it forwards you to your local server.
